Frequently asked questions
Why do I not see light when operating IR light on panel?
Infrared light is not visible to the naked eye. When operating in IR mode you will just see a few red lights showing that the panel is operating.
Can I have too much light therapy?
We would recommend not exceeding more than 30 minutes per sesssion and not to use any red lght therapy overnight. More time does not mean better results. Cells can only absorb so much light.
Is light therapy safe?
Yes, it is safe. Low-level LED devices do not contain ultraviolet (UV) rays, so there is no risk of skin cancer or cellular UV damage. Minor temporary redness can occasionally occur (mainly due to increased circulation).
Do I need eye protection?
You should avoid staring directly into intense light sources. If the device is bright enough to make you squint, use protective goggles or keep your eyes closed during facial treatments.
How often should I use light therapy?
Typically 3 to 5 sessions per week, 15 to 30 minutes each. More is not better; cells have a ceiling.
How long will it take to see results?
Skin and pain effects often show within a few weeks; fuller results typically take a month or more of consistent use.
